At 11 years old, Michelle had a car accident in Taiwan that resulted in permanent disability, leaving her 44 inches tall and walking with crutches. The accident required a long recovery, including relearning to walk. Despite initial doubts and physical hardships, she persevered by starting earlier each day to complete the 26-mile trail.
